On a hill between the countryside and the sea stands Ostuni, the “White City,” so called because of the characteristic white color of its houses. Getting lost in its alleys and marveling at the unexpected glimpses that can be presented at every corner is an experience to try at least once in a lifetime. Not to mention the numerous stores and trattorias where you can try authentic Apulian flavors, a marvel. This is followed by an equally priceless visit to the town of Cisternino, known for being one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Salento has its heart here.

It was a nice tour as it was, but we wanted to overdo it by adding an afternoon visit to two wine cellars right in the renowned Itria Valley, with accompanying wine tasting to end this wonderful day in the best possible way.
